It is not recommended. Unplugging the motor and lowering the desk to its lowest setting before moving protects the internal lift columns from stress and prevents cables from being yanked loose during transport.
Most electric standing desks do need to relearn their height range after being unplugged. This usually involves holding the up and down buttons together until the display resets, which restores accurate height memory settings.
It is safer to separate the desktop from the leg frame first. Moving a standing desk fully assembled roughly doubles the weight being carried and increases the chance of bending a leg column or cracking a mounting bracket.
Take a photo of the cable routing, then label each cable with tape before disconnecting it. Coil and secure each cable to its matching leg so nothing gets tangled or plugged into the wrong port during reassembly.
The most common issues are bent or dented telescoping leg columns from dragging or angled loading, and cracked control box connectors from cables that were left plugged in or dangling during transport.
